Heather's Heavenly Vapes - Vanilla Dream juice review

Vendor: Heather's Heavenly Vapes

Juice Flavor: Vanilla Dream

Nic Level: 12mg

PG/VG: 70/30

What Heather's Heavenly Vapes says about it:

This is THE vape for vanilla lovers... Rich, deep, flavorful... Tons of tasty vanilla vapor! We can now offer this flavor mixed to nearly any ratio as we now carry 100% organic vegetable glycerin (VG) nicotine. However, if 100% VG is selected as the ratio, the resulting mixture will not be 100% VG as some of the flavorings used in this vape contain small amounts of PG as a flavor carrier.
Testing Equipment:

standard smoov carto (808)
smoov 78mm automatic battery

First Impressions:
This juice comes in a plastic bottle with a simple label that states only the juice name - no room for details since it was a sample.  The juice is golden and of medium consistency, it took a few seconds to absorb into the carto fill.  It had a nice, vanilla scent to it.

Vaping Impressions:
So here I go... I decided to pull my Smoov out of semi-retirement.  Although I've been using variable voltage, I felt guilty about leaving my poor little lady like Smoov out in the cold.  I figured that this would be a delicate vape that needs something long and elegant looking.  See my logic?

Quick drag to make sure things were going... MMMMM, sweet.  Very tasty... not just tasty but almost mouth watering tasty!

After another full inhale and slow nose/mouth exhale,  I realize that this definitely has a rich, deep, vanilla flavor.  But... hmmm... there is something more going on!  I'm not getting much of a throat hit, but I'm already over that.

So lets try this again.  Relaxed, reclined...  Eyes closed.  It really hits me!  It reminds me of when my girls were little and we would make cupcakes!  After we mixed the batter, we cleaned that bowl out!  Yes, yes, I know... eggs... salmonella... my girls are in their 20s now and we never experienced ill effects of licking cake batter!  Heck, if I didn't have that experience, I would not be able to compare this juice to it!!!

I cannot stop vaping this!  I think the aftertaste is the best part!  It's rich, buttery and tastes exactly like cake batter!!  This is great!

I really expected more of a vanilla extract taste, I didn't expect the complexity and richness that this juice delivers.  Vapor production was amazing!

Final Impression:
This may end up as my morning coffee juice!  Its not sickly sweet yet it completely satisfied my sweet tooth cravings!  It delivered exactly what it promised.  The description is spot on!  I think this would mix excellent with a cocoa flavored juice too... It would create the ultimate cupcake experience!

ESP gives this juice a double thumbs up!

Heather's Heavenly Vapes - Angel Kiss Juice Review

Vendor: Heather's Heavenly Vapes

Juice Flavor: Angel Kiss

Nic Level: 12mg

PG/VG: 70/30

What Heather's Heavenly Vapes says about it:
This is a fantastic lightweight fruit vape with a cool kiss at the end. No menthol here (unless you add the option below), just a touch of cool upon exhale. What fruits you ask? I have no idea, and Heather's not talking, but I can tell you that this is a fruit lovers dream...
Testing Equipment:
standard carto - 2.5 ohm
my favorite pink ego twist!  set at 4

First Impressions:
This juice comes in a plastic bottle with a simple label that states only the juice name - no room for details since it was a sample.  The juice is clear and of medium consistency,  but wicked extremely well so filling/resting time was minimal. Of course, I sniffed!  I got a nice, light, fruity scent which sort of reminds me of juicy fruit gum!

Vaping Impressions:
I had my ego all set at 4 and just twisted on my filled carto.  Wouldn't you know it!  The battery died.

So here's the moment I am waiting for!  I took a drag (is a drag?  a voop?  a toot?  what IS it called??).  Hummm... omg, what am I tasting!  I feel a slight coolness, but not a minty coolness!  I can't even explain it.  There's definitely a tartness hitting my tastebuds. It's refreshing!
After another full inhale and slow nose/mouth exhale,  I'm getting a sweet tang of fruity goodness.  But what?  Maybe some strawberry?  Definitely some banana!  This is not a candy flavor, it's more of a bubblegum taste without that syrupy sweetness!  The nice thing is that I can pick out the flavors - kinda.

Very slight throat hit, but VERY satisfying.

Vapor production was excellent, nice thick plumes.  Awesome vape rings, I love my vape rings!

There is a slight aftertaste of yumminess!  A little twang to it.  This is just so good.  It's very satisfying - am I tasting watermelon??  Or could it be peach?  Maybe a little lemony? I get something a little different each time!

Have I mentioned I hate banana?  Well this is totally working for me! It definitely reminds me of juicy fruit gum!

Final Impression:
Nice, smooth vape.  Definite kiss of coolness!  This vape works perfectly and could easily become part of my daily routine - if I actually wanted to stick to one flavor!  Bummer I don't.

ESP gives this juice a double thumbs up!

Still Waiting! Vaping on some Bandersnatch in the meantime.

I'm still waiting on my juicy shipment from Heather's Heavenly Vapes!  I finally got a tracking number and I think (and hope) that I'll have them on Monday!

Right now I'm vaping on some Bandersnatch from Alice in Vapeland.  I have to say, this one is not agreeing with me.  I'm not a butterscotch type gal, I'm not a banana type gal.  I actually avoid the two.  I would write up a review, but I'm just not enjoying it at all.

Now that doesn't mean it's not good!  It's just good to me.  All are tastes are so different! My husband and I have totally different tastes.  What tastes awesome to me, tastes like ass to him.  He's vaping on a French Ice Cream and to me, it tastes just like sour milk.  Yet he loves it and continues to buy it!  Bleh.

So anyway, this bandersnatch almost reminds me of the French Ice Cream. There isn't much sweetness (which is good), it's got a flavor I can't even describe.  I really can't pick the banana or the butterscotch out of it.  There isn't a throat hit at all (which could have redeemed it for me) but it does produce a nice thick vapor!

I'm sorry... I just don't like this juice enough to keep vaping it long enough to do an honest and thoughtful review.

I'm going to let this one sit overnight and let my tastebuds refresh while I sleep.  If I happen to have a different perspective on this juice in the morning, I will let y'all know!

ESP doesn't wanna review it!  No thumbs at all!

More reviews incoming!

I just ordered my some nice sounding flavors from Heather's Heavenly Vapes.  Quite honestly, I was so impressed the first time around that I wasn't interested in trying anything else!

I ordered me up a nice big bottle of Legend (they renamed Gandalf!!).  I ordered another sampler pack of Just Peachy, Vanilla Dream, Angels Kiss and Blade.  And, I ordered a bottle of Razzberry.

I must say, I'm pretty darn excited!

We had some stuff going on in the family the past week and a half so I've been pretty busy.  I work two jobs - I gotta support my vaping habit you know!  My posting has been light but the wheels have been turning.  Hopefully I'll get your wheels turning soon too!

Lots of Love!

Cussin like a sailor!

Well, I was going to do more juice reviews.  The juices from Alice in Vapeland.

This is the problem I'm running into...

I'm constantly changing up what I'm vaping from/on... Different voltages, different resistances.  I don't think I'm doing these juices justice at all.  While I'm confident in what I've reviewed so far, I've had some that weren't so great.  NOT because of the juices mind you, but because of my nicotine delivery devices!

I love my smoov.  It's a sweet looking cigalike that I have in many colors, all with matching drip tips.  These are 3.7 volt regulated batteries.  I LOVE(D) it.  So what happened?  My husband got me started on using variable voltage mods.  Each one is a little different but they are all heavy vapor producers.  So, when I tried "Sweet Tease", I got... well not much.  I could taste the tea, I didn't get the lemon.  I think I'm done with the 3.7 volts :(  I'm a heavy hitter, I'm ruined!  But because I'm using teeny tiny samplers, I can't even revisit it on another device!

So, next thing I try is "White Rabbit" on my z-max.  Well, it's really the hubby's, I kind of took it over.  So what did I do? I burned the hell out of it.  Quite accidentally, but unfortunately, it was another teeny tiny sample and I don't want to "taint" a new carto with a burned up juice.

From this point forward, I'm not going to review a juice until I have a decent size bottle to try on several different devices!  This weekend, I think I'm going to order up a few things... LOLOL, good excuse huh?

Happy Vaping!

The loss of a best friend and the discovery of a new buddy.

Welcome, old vapers, new vapers, never vapers... This post is going to be long, it's just fair warning.  I know alot of it has been said already, but it's something that I feel the need to talk about - again.

I remember, many moons ago, attempting to quit smoking.  Everytime I tried, I felt sad.  I was losing something that was comforting to me.  I was giving up something that got me through my most stressful moments.  I was tossing out something that was there for my happiest moments.  What was I thinking?  The stress of trying to quit smoking made me smoke more.

"Depression is associated with an increased frequency of smoking. Addicted smokers are characterized by preoccupation with smoking, abnormal attachment to cigarettes and anticipation of brain reward from the drugs in cigarette smoke. Attempts to quit smoking often lead to a decreased level of pleasure and undesirable mood swings. Thus, once the brain has adapted to the daily dose of the drug, it seems abnormal to the brain if the user attempts to abstain."

Really?  So there are more to cigarettes than nicotine?  Of course, I never researched "smoking" until I started vaping.  My "abnormal attachement" to cigarettes was glowing bright and shiny.

So finally, I did it.  The stress of not smoking was not fun.  I had a hard time being around smokers (even years later) and was quite cranky.  Well, according to my SMOKING husband, I was bitchy.  Why was I always so bitchy?  Because I wanted a cigarette.  And I would pilfer one here and there and felt amazingly better.  Yes, I'm ashamed.

Eventually though, the anxiety attacks really started.  I'd get them mainly at work, and they were not fun.  Cold sweats, prickly skin, heartbeat going to fast - maybe it was too slow.  Am I having a heart attack?  Maybe it's a tumor.  My hands won't stop shaking.  People talking to me sound like giant buzzing bees.  I honestly thought I was going crazy.

Look below.  Really, do it.  Can you pronounce all of them?  I sure cant.  These are the chemicals that are in cigarettes.  These are only the 599 added chemicals that are ADDED to a cigarette.  This list was provided by the top 5 cigarette manufacturing companies in 1994.  Could you see the "ingredient" label of a cigarette pack now??  There are over 4000 chemicals that are produced as a byproduct of combustion of this mess.  What the hell were we thinking?  Are some of them addictive?  Quite sure of it.  I was going through a detox of some very powerful looking chemicals...

Of course, and again, I didn't know this while I was smoking.  I knew it was natural - tobacco leaves and paper.  LOL, talk about uneducated.  But as a smoker, we really don't want to look closer into a cigarette at all, do we?

A little more research and I realized that it's not about the nicotine, it never was.  Yes, nicotine is addictive.  It's a stimulant.  It has a calming effect though.  Caffeine is a drug.  It's a stimulant.  It has a calming effect though.  Hmmm...  So now, maybe it's not the nicotine I should be so worried about.

Enter the e-cig.  A few hits off a cigalike and I'm relaxed.  I'm sure the nicotine helped greatly but there's something about the hand to mouth habit that is satisfying.  Could it be that same hand to mouth motion that the morbidly obese crave too?  Is it similar to a child of 4 with a pacifier still in his mouth?  Soothing, calming...

I have effectively traded one habit for another.  There is no denial here, I'm guilty as charged.  I'll be the first to admit it.  YUP.  I tried.  I really did.  I thought cold turkey was the way to go.  There is just so much more going on here than that though.

If you're a current smoker looking to quit, you will more than likely go through a detox phase.  Some people have a really hard time with it. It's not the nicotine, do NOT let anyone tell you it is.  It's part of it, but look up a little.  There's your addiction.

If you have to wean yourself slowly off cigarettes, then do it.  Drink lots of water.  Don't think it all has to be done at once.  Exercise.  Use an e-cig - alot.  Do what it takes to get the above mess out of your system.

In e-juices, you'll find propolyne glycol, vegetable glycerine, artifical & natural flavorings, nicotine and water.  There are a few other little odds and ends in there, mainly to make the flavors.  Everything in it - with the exception of the nicotine of course - can and probably has been put into your mouth a million times already.  Nicotine is just that little drug - much like caffeine - that helps some of us get through the day.  But wait... PROPOLYNE GLYCOL is antifreeze!  Right?  Right!  But so is salt.  Sorry, but that's the bullshitiest argument I've heard against e-cigs yet... Enjoying that butter cookie made with artifical vanilla flavoring?  Damn dude, you just ate *ahem* antifreeze!  Washed your hair?  You just transdermally absorbed *ahem* antifreeze.  Salt potatoes?  YUMMMY!  Full of *ahem* antifreeze.  So can it already!  I've found a brand new buddy in e-cigs and it's not causing me any anxiety!!

-----

If you're still reading this, I have got to mention that this is on the fly, not pre-composed, so I'm sure I'm missing much as I go on my little tangents.  But, the reason I'm saying all this is because the FDA does squat about cigarettes yet they're looking to mess with e-cigs.  Of course, there hasn't been many official studies, but small, independent studies are showing that there are few negative health effects of vaping.  Doctors are recommending it to get their patients off combustion.  They're allowed in some hospitals. What we do lack is LONG TERM research, but that's because e-cigs have only been mainstream since around 2007 and they're really just starting to take off.

So what's all the hubub, bub?  There are a few theories out there, but the one that I totally subscribe to is the fact that there is absolutely no money in it for the government.  In fact, they'll lose money.  Some doctors are reporting that they think turning to e-cigs will have a major impact on the number of lung cancer cases.  The average treatment cost is somewhere around $40,000.00 and I'm sure that's not even the most recent numbers.  That's more than I make a year!  For every one person who's NOT getting treated for cancer, that's the equilavent of the loss of one full time salary.  The impacts are huge.  Start researching other smoking related illnesses and subtract those costs too... Hmmm.  Then, start looking up how much Big Tobacco donates and to whom.   WOW, there's some more money.  If you're really getting into this, look up how much Big Pharma gets for selling their chemo drugs, heart meds, blood pressure drugs, etc. (HEYYYY... they cause OTHER cancers - other cancers require other treatments!)  Are you seeing it?  Are you following that money?  There's no "sin tax" on e-juice yet, even more money lost... I can go on and on and on...

How can you fight the government?  I don't know that you singularly can, but you can start by signing this petion: https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/prevent-fda-regulating-or-banning-sale-and-use-electronic-cigarettes-accessories-and-associated/RQLBYRsd  Post it to your facebook wall, let it go viral!  I have!

Sooooo much more I want to say, but I'll have to organize my next random ramblings...

Love,
ESP

Alice In Vapeland - Afternoon Tea juice review

Vendor: Alice in Vapeland

Juice Flavor: Afternoon Tea

Nic Level: 11mg

PG/VG: I'm not sure of the ratio, but it's a PG/VG blend. I'm going to say it's more of a 70vg/30pg blend due to the lower volume of vapor and the thinness of the juice.

What Alice in Vapeland says about it:
Afternoon Tea is the perfect blend for times when you feel like sitting with a hot cup of steamy black tea, with just a dab of cream. It’s wonderful to enjoy while taking a quiet moment to yourself, or while sharing the day’s tidings with good friends. Alice and her mixologists worked very hard developing this flavor, sampling “cup after cup”, to find the perfect recipe.
Testing Equipment:
2.4 ohm clearomizer
ego twist - set at 3.4

First Impressions:
Teeny tiny 3ml dripper bottle, very prettily labeled. They used a gorgeous font in gold against a black background.

The juice is a very pale, ginger ale color It's thin and runs into a clearo easily.  No wait time to let the wicks absorb juice due to the thinness.

There was really nothing to sniff... I couldn't smell anything.

Vaping Impressions:
Thin juice, no waiting for wicking.
I took a nice, long, slow drag and my normal mouth/nose exhale. Very mild flavor.
There is not much of a throat hit.  I'm finding that with Alice In Vapeland juices, throat hit is not prevalent at all.  TH is pretty much the last thing on my mind when vaping, so it's not a big deal.

This juice had a nice flavor to it.  It had the delicate taste of tea and a sweet, creamy undertone.  The cream is definitely there on the exhale, and it leaves a nice "tea like" aftertaste.  Think about drinking a mild cup of tea with milk and sugar (my all time comfort beverage) and you'll know what I mean.  There was a slight perfumy taste to it - nothing bad or unbearable though.  The more I vape it, the more I enjoy it.  This "afternoon tea" goes wonderful WITH a cup of tea.  It's going great with the tea I'm enjoying right now!

The longer the juice is in the clearo, the better it tastes.  It darkens with use, but it seems to add to the flavor instead of taking away from it.

The amount of vapor was moderate, but again, it's a thinner juice.  I'm finding that the thinner the juice, the less vapor I get.

Final Impression:
This juice was very good.  I do believe that Alice in Vapeland worked very hard to get it right.  I'm very happy with Alice in Vapeland, they put alot of themselves into their product and it truly shows.  I still can't get over the box the juice was packed in!  The inside had a bunny with some hand drawn hearts.

I'm truly sad that my afternoon tea is almost over...
ESP gives this juice a thumbs up!

Save Vaping

I don't know about you, but if it wasn't for vaping, I'm sure I'd be smoking.  My husband would be smoking.  Countless number of friends would be smoking.  None of us do anymore... Because we vape.

So now the FDA wants to step in.  I believe it's more that they want a piece of the pie.  Have you ever bought nicotine gum or nicotine patches?  Did you notice the ridiculous prices of them??  Do you really want your vaping experience to be that expensive and limited to the amount of nicotine and flavors that the FDA says we're allowed to have? There have been public hearings, call for actions, public comment requests.  I've done my part, do yours too.

The newest item circulating is an online petition.  It takes literally two seconds to register.  Will it have a huge effect?  I have no clue.  But, doing something is always better than doing nothing.  If more people would get involved with the way our country is run, instead of sitting on our asses waiting for the government to... well... govern us, perhaps we'd all be happier.

There are enough of us to make an impact.  It's time we become impactful.

Now go sign it.

Prevent the FDA from regulating or banning e-cigs.

Alice In Vapeland - Lemon Loves Cake Review

Vendor: Alice in Vapeland

Juice Flavor: Lemon Loves Cake

Nic Level: 11mg

PG/VG: I'm not sure of the ratio, but it's a PG/VG blend. I'm going to say it's more of a 70vg/30pg blend due to the lower volume of vapor and the thinness of the juice.

What Alice in Vapeland says about it:
`Lemon may be sour, and Cake may be sweet, but pure Love is in the air when these two meet!
Testing Equipment:
3.2 ohm smoketech cartomizer
ego twist - cranked

First Impressions:
Teeny tiny 3ml dripper bottle, very prettily labeled. They used a gorgeous font in gold against a black background.

The juice is a caramel color  It's thin, very easy to fill a carto.  There was no real aroma, which was a little disappointing.  I love sniffing my juices first.

Vaping Impressions:
Since the juice was thin, and I was using a higher resistance carto, I cranked up my twist.
I took a nice, long, slow drag and my normal mouth/nose exhale.  Very mild flavor.
After another full inhale and a nose/mouth exhale, I'm still not getting much.  The flavor is mild, the vapor production is modest. I think this juice would benefit from an open top steep prior to using.

Of course, I already had a filled carto so I just let it sit for a bunch of hours to see if that didn't improve it.  It did :)

There was an ok throat and a sweet cakey background - not overly sweet though.  I struggled to get the lemon flavor that I was looking for.  This juice was not perfumey, and it didn't leave much of an aftertaste.

Final Impression:
This juice was good!  It wasn't as impactful as I would have liked it to be, but I prefer a stronger vape.  It's a mazing that I never really thought about it before I started writing up my reviews.  I'm learning alot about myself.

While this juice is not really for me, it does deserve a decent rating since it tries very hard to be lemon cake!  It's there, just not quite strong enough for me to have this as my go to flavor.

ESP gives this juice a thumbs up!

Alice In Vapeland - Twas Brillig juice review

Vendor: Alice in Vapeland

Juice Flavor: Twas Brillig

Nic Level: 11mg

PG/VG: I'm not sure of the ratio, but it's a PG/VG blend.  I'm going to take a stab at it and say it's more of a 70vg/30pg blend due to the lower volume of vapor.

What Alice in Vapeland says about it:
`Twas brillig, and blackyberry crumb
Did cloud and cream in the ‘fere;
All ‘landers were the bonifeers,
And the oven wafted & and ummm.

Clouds of a warm blackberry crumble . .
Thank you to the darling, creative, and quite often hilarious Lettucehead of ECF for inspiring, naming and helping us create this wonderful flavor! Twas Brillig is a delicious Lettucehead creation that won the people’s choice vote in our ‘It’s Your Juice’ contest, alongside White Rabbit by Morri.
Testing Equipment:
3.2 ohm smoketech cartomizer
ego twist - cranked

First Impressions:
Teeny tiny 3ml dripper bottle, very prettily labeled. They used a gorgeous font in gold against a black background.  I'm just TOO impressed with them.  They also offer their juices in glass bottles, which I will get when I buy full size!

The juice is almost orangy/caramel in color.  It's thin, so it soaked in wonderfully!  It's love at first sniff... made my mouth water a bit!  I can smell the blackberry... mmmm

Vaping Impressions:
Since I was using a thin juice and a higher resistance carto, I cranked my twist up.  Of course, I did a few starter drags just to make sure I didn't burn this up - I only have 3ml of juice, sheesh!
I took a nice, long, slow drag and my normal mouth/nose exhale.  OMG, this is YUM.  I can immediately taste blackberry with some vanilla undertones.
After another full inhale and an even slower nose/mouth exhale, I can really really taste it.  This stuff is amazing!  I can taste the sweet blackberry and I even get a hint of tartness.  What really surprised me was the richness of it.  It's not really sweet, not really tart, but ever so delicious!  There is a creamy undertone, almost like fresh vanilla whipped cream or even maybe a vanilla pound cake.

Throat hit wasn't overly present but I was so satisfied with the flavor that I didn't even notice that! I tend to stay at the lower end of the nicotine spectrum so then there's that too. Vapor production was decent, nothing overly impressive, but enough to satisfy me as well.

I really wished I had saved some of this for my morning coffee... I can almost taste it already!

Final Impression:
This juice was delicious!  Even though I'd consider this a "dessert vape" I could definitely make it an ADV without even thinking about it.
ESP gives this juice a double thumbs up!

I have Vape Mail! Alice In Vapeland's General Review

On January 5th, I decided to test out more vendors for my juices!  I just love a good juice.

I navigated myself over to Alice in Vapeland and found a very simple website.   It didn't make my eyes crazy, I wasn't jumping to one section from another and back again.  Nice and simple, the way I like life.  I've been researching some information on the US Census site... If you ever had to get data from there, you will totally appreciate simplicity!

I wandered over to the juice section and was pleasantly surprised to see a small list of juices!  There were only 15 available.  Hummm... I liked this!  Too many juices make me crazy, especially when I want all of them.  Guess what??  I got all of them!  They have a wonderful little sampler pack "A little bit of everything" that you can get for $31.00.  You get 3mls of every flavor they have.

I placed my order and proceeded to look around the site.  They don't sell much in equipment, which I'm good with but their drip tips... OMG!  They are hand crafted glass drip tips and they are absolutely amazing!  These are the type that are GIFTS!  They're wonderfully crafted and absolutely delightful!  They're a little pricey but these puppies belong on pedestals.  Definitely one of a kind.

Today I got my juices!  Nine days... seems a little long, but it's not like I lack juice around these parts.

I walked in the house and daughter2 said "Hey mom, you got something from Alice in whateverland".  I didn't say anything, threw my bag on the floor and bolted for my office!

I looked all over my desk.  What the hell, no box??  But, then I saw it.  A wonderfully cute, personalized recipt.  A personalized "Thank You"/"Welcome to Vapeland" on one side (with an adorable illustration of Alice and her tea party), and the invoice/receipt on the other.  There was no lack of attention or thoughtfulness!

Still, no box though...

I ran to the bedroom where the hubster was on the bed watching some junk on TV.  I said "WHAT'S THIS??"  He said "I don't know..."  So I showed him and he said "DAMN, I left that... I wanted to surprise you."  LOL, I love my man.

He had already tore open the box and sampled a flavor!  Cheater!

So anyway, Alice in Vapeland gets an ESP DOUBLE THUMBS UP!  I'll throw in a few toes too.  Their website, ordering process and delivery was spot on, wonderfully adorable and just absolutely made my day.

Now I sit here... Enjoying something so totally delicious that I swear I'm eating it.

What?  You want a review?  Not tonight... I'm busy vaping.  Probably not tomorrow either cause it's an ink day - a holiday in my book!  Maybe, just maybe Thursday... maybe :)

If this first juice is any indication of how the rest will be...  never mind!  I'm not saying another word. Your patience will be rewarded.

Still waiting!

I'm impatient!  I cannot take this... I know it's only been a few days but I'm soooo excited knowing that I'll have a whole bunch of new goodies to try.  I haven't gotten an email that Alice in Vapeland has shipped my order, but I'm really hoping that I'll just walk up to the mail box tomorrow and receive a wonderful, tasty surprise!

I'm still nursing my little bit of a cold but it's not as bad as they usually are!  I think it's because of the lack of SMOKE!!  No lung rumbles, slightly congested, no sinus congestion.  I really hope it doesn't get worse now that I talked about it.

I'm currently vaping on some Vapor Trail RY-4.  I'm not really into tobacco juices but this one is really good.  It's smooth and sweet and it's my current all day favorite.  The current blend I'm using is 100% VG so there isn't much of a throat hit but loads and loads of vapor.  Sometimes that's just as good as a throat hit.  With this stupid cold, I'm not really needing to duplicate that "smoking" feeling.

Someday I will do more formal reviews of Vapor Trail's juices.  The only reason I'm not doing that now is because they don't really sell online and I WANT YOU TO GO VISIT THEM!

If you're in the Buffalo, NY area, do yourself a favor and go.  They're really nice, lots of fun and they will not screw you or oversell their products.   I, however, may oversell them... lol. I really love that place THAT much!

Waiting on my vape mail...

I had so much fun reviewing my samples from Heather's Heavenly Vapes that I went around looking for something else to try.

So there it was... Alice In Vapeland!  I ordered "A Little Bit of Everything" which is a sample pack of all their juices!

I've read some AMAZING reviews on the E-Cigarette Forum - my favorite hangout!  Now I can't wait to get my grubbers on them... I'll review them all too, just not as quickly as I did for Heather's.  You see, I spent all my time contemplating, thinking, even overthinking Heather's juices that I didn't really sit back to enjoy the experience itself.  This go-round will be much different!

Until then, I am contentedly vaping on juices from Vapor Trail while being home "sick" from work, drinking tea and nursing a chest cold.

Do you re-use your condoms?

What?

WHAT!!!

Do I re-use what?

You heard me!

Do you re-use your condoms?

Condoms are those little silicone end caps that come on brand, spanking new cartomizers!  I have one heck of a condom collection.  I save them all, I reuse them all. Get your mind out of the gutter.

I sometimes fill my cartomizers by using the "condom method".  All you do is drip your drops into the condom - not quite halfway up.

Then insert your - I SAID GET YOUR MIND OUT OF THE GUTTER!

Ahem...

Insert your cartomizer (threaded end) into the filled condom and slowly push down.  This forces the juice directly into the cartomizer from the bottom.

Slowly pull out.
Really?  Back in the gutter again?

Fill it one more time and repeat.  Drip a few more drops into the top and you're good to go!  I like to fill until a drop comes out the bottom.  I've burned out plenty of new cartomizers when I "thought" they were full.

I also use condoms when I fill a few cartomizers to take with me when I'm out and about.  I fill them, cap both ends, drop them in my little bag and boogie out the door.

You can also poke a hole in a condom!  YUP, you heard me...

If you squeeze it together and cut a little piece out of the center, you can use your condom as a taster tip!  Just slip it over your drip tip and let your friend try it!  No worries about his lips touching your tip.  Chuck it when he's done!

So, in summary:
You can fill a cartomizer using a condom.
You can protect your precious juice in a newly filled cartomizer by placing a condom on each end.
You can let your friends taste your juice by placing a condom with a hole poked in it onto your drip tip.

Sounds dirty.

Ok, proceed back to the gutter!

Heather's Heavenly Vapes - Parrothead juice review

Vendor: Heather's Heavenly Vapes

Juice Flavor: Parrothead

Nic Level: 12mg

PG/VG: 100% VG - this was part of a sample pack, I'm pretty sure it was 100% VG based on the fact it's from their purity line.

What Heather's Heavenly Vapes says about it:
Cheeseburger in Paradise? Nope. But this vape will take you straight to the beach in Key West. Fresh key lime pie filling. Rich and creamy. No pie crust to get in the way here. Just flavorful, yummy, key lime pie filling. Grab your flip flops! This flavor is part of our Purity line. All flavor ingredients in our Purity line are propylene glycol (PG) free which is why we can offer this particular vape in your favorite PG/VG ratio including 100% organic VG if desired.
Testing Equipment:
1.7ohm xl cartomizer
ego twist - set to about 3.8

First Impressions:
This juice comes in a plastic bottle with a simple label that states only the juice name. The juice is very thin and has a faint caramel color. I was able to drip this into an xl cartomizer in record time. I'm rather disappointed that there was not a noticible aroma when I opened the bottle - I love sniffing my juices first.

Vaping Impressions:
I used my twist somewhere between 3.6 and 3.8, so it was rather high up with a low restistance carto.  One quick little drag (to make sure it wicked well and was not burning any of the filler) and there was no real impression.
After a long, gentle drag, I did a full inhale. I'm still not tasting much.  I'm getting a very light, lime flavor that I had to search for.  Vapor production was decent.
After another full inhale and slow nose/mouth exhale, I can taste it.  Nothing super strong, but I'm getting the lime flavor.  Another drag...  hold it, hold it... Exhale... Hummm... A little better.

So, now I'm thinking... Maybe this is something that I should have let steep a little longer.  Maybe this is me in a vape rut (I HATE VAPE RUTS)!  I give up for a little while.

A few hours later, I try again.  Either my buds woke up or this juice was happy doing some airing out in my carto.  I'm tasting lime, I'm getting a nice, creamy undertone with it and there is a little bit of tanginess.  There is not alot of sweetness - since this is my fourth juice from Heather's, I'm thinking that their juices aren't overly sweet.  This is a good thing!

I'm also not getting a throat hit, which is slightly disappointing.

Final Impression:
I did start enjoying this juice the second go round.  Sad to say, I went through the full 3mls quickly.  I'm not sure if it's because its a thinner juice, but it didn't have a good lasting power.  It's also possible that since I was burning the carto kinda hot, I just went through it quicker.

I DO like it though, I'm glad I gave it another shot before this review.  It's a very subtle taste.  After using some pretty high flavored juices, my buds might not have been ready for something so mild.

This would be a good juice for someone not looking for something with a ton of kick, who can appreciate the subtleties and mildness of it.  Even though I don't normally enjoy very subtle juices, I will definitely order it again.

ESP gives this juice a thumbs up!

Heather's Heavenly Vapes - Georgia Peach Tobacco juice review

Vendor: Heather's Heavenly Vapes

Juice Flavor: Georgia Peach Tobacco

Nic Level: 12mg

PG/VG: 70/30

What Heather's Heavenly Vapes says about it:
Fresh peaches combine with mild tobacco for this tasty vape. Straight from the peach state!
Vision Vivi Nova mini 2ml tank, 2.4ohm head
i-taste set at 4.0

First Impressions:
This juice comes in a plastic bottle with a simple label that states only the juice name - cute purple cap though! The juice is very thin and has a richer caramel color. This juice wicked extremely well, resting time was minimal. Taking a nice deep sniff, the scent of peaches hit me.  Not candy peaches, but as if you just cut open a nice, warm peach fresh off the tree.  OH MY GOODNESS, I was absolutely floored and I think I drooled a little

Vaping Impressions:
I originally had my i-taste set at 3.7, which is my standard starting point. One quick little drag (to make sure it wicked well) filled my mouth with the flavor of a fresh juicy peach.  I moved up to 4.0 and left it at that as the taste seemed quite perfect!
After a long, gentle drag, I did a full inhale. This juice is very tasty but slightly rougher on the throat.  Very good throat hit, even at 12 mg of nic.  I believe that this was accomplished by the higher level of pg and the fact that there are definite tobacco undertones.
After another full inhale and slow nose/mouth exhale,  I can almost imagine biting into a peach!!  Sweet, tangy, very fresh tasting.  There are no candy undertones in it.   I can taste the tobacco underneath the peach but the peach really is the dominant flavor. There is, however, a slight perfumy-ness to it that I'm not sure I 100% care for. I think it comes from the tobacco flavoring.  Since this juice is not part of the "purity" line (organic), I will assume that this is not a 100% natural tobacco flavoring.

Vapor production was decent, pretty thick plumes.  I was able to do some really nice vape rings!

The throat hit stays with you a few moments as does a bit of a chesty feel (how else should I explain it?) As with all of the juices I've sampled and reviewed from Heather's so far, this juice is not overly sweet, but more of a natural sweet.  It doesn't taste artificial and the sweetness doesn't linger.  The peachiness does linger after the tobacco fades.  It leaves a slight tart, fresh taste in the mouth.  It did a number on my salivary glands... yep, pretty sure that's drool.

Final Impression:
While I did enjoy this juice a whole lot, I don't think it's the right fit for me as an all day vape.  I've been vaping it since last night and have gone through 2ml of it so I've given it a very fair chance.  It's a bit harsher than the flavors I've tried and while a throat hit is nice, I don't care for the lingering tickle in my chest.  It's very similar to the feeling of smoking a traditional cigarette, just tastes sooooo much better.  I also didn't care for the tobacco undertones as it was slightly perfumy.  My next order will include Just Peachy for comparison purposes!

While I can't really give this juice a perfect double thumbs up because I felt it a little harsh, it is in no way a poor quality, poorly flavored juice.  It's absolutely delicious.  It's just not the right fit for me.

ESP gives this juice a thumbs up!

Heather's Heavenly Vapes - Gandalf e-liquid review - Now known as "Legend"

Vendor: Heather's Heavenly Vapes

Juice Flavor: Gandalf - **NOTE** I'm updating this - it's now called "Legend"!

Nic Level: 12mg

PG/VG: I believe that since it is from their purity line, it is 100% vg

What Heather's Heavenly Vapes says about it:
After many reviews, we have decided to change the description of this flavor. Gandalf is an extracted pipe tobacco which is quickly gaining fame with vapers new and old. Many customers who do not like tobacco vapes, rave about Gandalf. It has qualities that go well beyond traditional tobacco vapes. For many, Gandalf has become that elusive all day vape that vapers are searching for. We'll let you make the final decision. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do. This flavor is part of our Purity line. All flavor ingredients in our Purity line are propylene glycol (PG) free which is why we can offer this particular vape in your favorite PG/VG ratio including 100% organic VG if desired.

Testing Equipment:
Vision Vivi Nova mini 2ml tank, 2.4ohm head
i-taste set at 4.5

First Impressions:
This juice comes in a plastic bottle with a simple label that states only the juice name - cute purple cap though! The juice is very thin and has a pale caramel color (I'm going to assume it's a natural color since this is an organic juice.)  This juice wicked extremely well, resting time was minimal. Sniffing this juice like a fine wine reminded me of stepping into a tobacco shop with my mom as a kid.  Back in the day, my mom sold cigarettes at her establishment.  I loved walking into a tobacco shop with her and just smelling the air in there.  Sweet, pure, clean... So far, I'm pretty impressed and very excited!

Vaping Impressions:
I originally had my i-taste set at 3.7, which is my standard starting point.  One quick little drag (to make sure it wicked well) instantly set my taste buds into a frenzy.  I inched my way up... 3.8, 3.9... 4.3.  Each increase of my voltage increased the flavor.  The juice became sweeter and tastier.  I did stop at 4.5, which is actually pretty high for me.
After a long, gentle drag, I did a full inhale. There was a slight throat hit but it was definitely there.  Decent vapor production.  Due to the higher voltage, this was a warmer vape and it seemed to suit the juice quite well.

After another full inhale and slow nose/mouth exhale, I'm able to truly appreciate the flavor. Immediately, I noticed a rich, sweet tobacco flavor.  It reminds me of putting a cigarette in my mouth, puffing on it before lighting it. You know, that first cigarette out of a brand new pack?  This was even better.

There is a good amount of sweetness, but not overwhelmingly so.  There seems to be some undertones of chocolate and vanilla, almost earthy.  Not perfumy, not spicy. The aftertaste is clean and stays with you a little while.

Final Impression:
I think I'm in love.  I'm not a tobacco vaper by any means.  I do switch to a menthol tobacco on occasion when I'm in a slump, just to wake up the ol' buds again.  This can, and will be on my all day vape hit list.  Since last night, I've gone through almost 3ml.  I really, truly, honestly wish I had ordered a larger size bottle.  I didn't steep, but I think I need to order two bottles and let one steep for a bit, then try it all over again!

ESP gives this juice a double thumbs up!
